The Crypto Assets market is undergoing a silent revolution. Compared to past bull runs, the current market shows distinctly different characteristics. In the past, we witnessed a surge of new investors who invested based on intuition, and buying small coins could yield considerable returns; everyone dreamed of achieving financial freedom through small investments.

However, the current market landscape has changed. The main force driving the market is no longer retail investors, but institutional funds. We do not see a frenzy of large-scale new investors entering the market; instead, capital is quietly positioning itself behind the scenes.

Put yourself in the shoes of a fund manager who oversees hundreds of millions of dollars. Would you choose to invest in little-known small-cap crypto assets or in meme coins that have already lost their hype? Obviously not. You need to write an investment report that persuades your superiors with compliance, profitability, and logic. These highly speculative assets simply cannot pass through the internal strict scrutiny.

Institutional funds are more inclined to flow towards larger market cap leading projects, especially those that are based in the US, have sound regulations, and transparent operations. These are the projects they are willing to invest in primarily.

Therefore, in this round of bull run, the first wave of funds is likely to concentrate on high-quality leading projects, forming a wave of 'institutional rush to buy'.

For ordinary investors, the wise move is to follow this trend rather than fantasizing about buying low-priced, illiquid, and underappreciated small-cap crypto assets. The latter strategy may lead to significant investment losses.

The characteristics of this bull run are institutional dominance and rational investment, which may reshape the ecosystem of the crypto assets market and drive the industry towards a more mature and regulated direction. Investors need to adjust their strategies, focus on high-quality projects, and carefully assess risks to adapt to this new market environment.

The scene has really changed; only when the tide goes out do we see who is swimming naked.
